On this week's "Food Friday" brought to you by the U.S. Food's Chef Store, our Natalie Parsons visited Cola's Restaurant located in the heart of downtown Columbia.
The restaurant puts its original architecture on display in the dining room along with hanging pictures that show what the city looked like years ago.
It is also able to make private room accommodations for parties as well offering tables and larger booths for those looking to dine-in.
The food that this unique restaurant serves up technically falls into the category of "American Cuisine" but there is nothing that their Head Chef Taylor Schoenecker cannot make.
The dishes that WACH FOX tasted include a Whole Roasted Bronzini, Scallops & Lobster with carnival style Cauliflower, Cucumber Salad then finishing things off with a Lemon Panna Cotta for dessert.
The bar which opens up at 5:30 p.m. daily serves special cocktails made with the freshest ingredients and are specially selected by the Bar Manager.
Cola's Restaurant is openned Monday through Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m, Friday through Saturday from 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. and closed on Sunday.
