COLUMBIA, SC (WACH) – This week’s Food Friday brought to you by US Food’s CHEF’STORE took our Britt Conway to Ristorante Divino to try some tasty Italian dishes.
When you head over to 803 Gervais Street, you'll find a welcoming bar, a warm dining room, and an impressive wine cellar in the back. They're known for their Northern Italian cuisine. Britt talked with Owner/Chef Bertrand Gilli, and Executive Chef Andrew White.
The guys whipped up a few of their favorite dishes. Banana peppers stuffed with Italian sausage, Asiago cheese, and Mozzarella cheese, topped with marinara; House-cured, smoked bacon; Cioppino with shrimp, scallops, mussels, calamari, and seasonal fish, over angel hair pasta with a tomato-saffron broth; Almond, vanilla pana cotta with a thin sugar cookie, pineaplle-ginger glaze, orange marmalade, and grapefruit; Italian cheesecake with ricotta, creme anglaise, and fresh berries.
