WACH: New Miss South Carolina Teen crowned

Miss South Carolina Teen Ally McCaslin (Miss South Carolina Scholarship Orginization, Inc.)

COLUMBIA, SC (WACH) – Miss Woodmont High School Teen Ally McCaslin was crowned Miss South Carolina Teen 2017 in front of a crowd at the Township Auditorium Friday night.

Sixteen-year-old McCaslin is from Simpsonville and attends Woodmont High School.

McCaslin performed a vocal to Journey to the Past for the talent competition. She was also the overall Teen Evening Gown winner. McCaslin will now compete in America’s Outstanding Teen Pageant in July in Orlando, Fla.

Miss South Carolina will be crowned Saturday, June 24. The pageant will begin at 8 p.m. at the Township Auditorium and can be seen right here on WACH FOX, along with other Sinclair stations in the state.

Both title-holders will speak at a press conference on Sunday, June 25 at 10:30 a.m. at the Marriott Downtown.

• Second runner up: Miss Clarendon Teen, Julia Herrin

• Third runner up: Miss Clemson Teen, Berkley Bryant

• Fourth runner up: Miss Hilton Head Island Teen, Kellan Fenegan
