OnPoint on WACH Fox: Finding the fountain of youth
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WACH) - On this week's edition on OnPoint on WACH Fox we look at finding the so-called fountain of youth.
More and more people are fighting Father Time and trying to look and feel as good as they can for as long as they can.
A youthful looking Christie Brinkley is posing in a swimsuit on the cover of Sports Illustrated flanked by her 18-year-old daugther and 30-something daughter. At 63, Brinkley's decision to strike such a sexy pose at her age is being met with both criticism and praise.
One school of thought is 'why fight the aging process, wear your wrinkles and cellulite with pride--after all you earned them!'
On the other hand, many say 'look as good as you can for as long as you can.'
For some, that means vigorous workouts. Many seek other options.
For instance, last year, more than 15 million people had some kind of cosmetic work done. And it isn't just women anymore. An increasing number of men are enhancing their look and reporting a lot of benefits from doing it.
Once thought to be a luxury only for celebrities, today it's uncommon in many circles if you haven't had a little work done.
