Folks who live in the Woodcreek Farms Subdivision are worried the call center will bring more traffic and noise into the area.
Columbia Councilwoman Leona Plaugh heads the task force looking into the matter. She says annexing an unincorporated portion of WoodCreek Farms would give the area more clout.
"The bigger thought process that this group will be recommending is to move forward with consolidated government," Plaugh says.
The task force will meet again next Tuesday.
