FOLLY BEACH, S.C. (AP) -- One person has died in a fire at Folly Beach.
Officials say the fire started shortly before 4 a.m. Friday in an apartment. Police say someone walking by the apartment noticed the fire and alerted authorities.
Firefighters had the blaze under control about five minutes after they arrived.
The name of the victim has not been released.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
