Mon, 04 Nov 2013 11:52:42 GMT — ABBEVILLE, S.C. (AP) -- Authorities accuse a 15-year-old boy of stabbing a 22-year-old man to death following an argument at an apartment complex in Abbeville. Abbeville Lt. Chris Wilkie says officers arrested the unnamed juvenile after finding Michael Comptom dead inside his apartment Friday afternoon. Abbeville County Coroner Ronnie Ashley says Comptom had been stabbed multiple times in the chest. Police say they've recovered the knife. Compton had a prosthetic leg stemming from a 2001 train accident, when he was 10 years old. Compton's foot got stuck as he crossed the tracks, and a train hit him. He used his belt as a makeshift tourniquet, tying it around his leg to stop the bleeding. Doctors amputated part of his leg.
