HUNTING ISLAND, S.C. (AP) -- Searchers have recovered a second body after three people disappeared in the water off Hunting Island.
The body of a 17-year-old male was recovered Sunday afternoon while a second body was recovered Monday morning.
Beaufort County sheriff's deputies were looking for a 38-year-old man and another 17-year-old male. The age of the second victim whose body was recovered was not immediately clear.
The names of the three have not been released.
Deputies say a 14-year-old girl became separated from the group and swam ashore and called for help on Sunday.
Glenn White of Gaffney says the group had been using a boogie board when they were swept out to sea. White said he and others waded into neck deep water, but were unable to get to the group.
