      62 years later: soldier's remains found and returned to family

      His family still lives in Conway and was there when the plane landed.

      CHARLESTON, SC (WPDE / Joel Allen) - In July of 2012, the remains of Master Sergeant Ernest Grainger were unearthed in Korea. His remains landed at the Charleston International Airport Wednesday and are being driven to Conway for a funeral and military burial.

      Grainger was 25 when he went missing in Korea three days after arriving. He has been listed as MIA since 1950.

      His family still lives in Conway and was there when the plane landed.
