COLUMBIA (WACH) â?? South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson announced the arrest of George Walter Krauss ,75, of Cheraw on 11 counts involving the sexual exploitation of minors.
The Attorney Generalâ??s Office, which supervises the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, made the arrest.
ICAC Task Force received a CyberTipline Report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that images of children engaged in sexual activity had been taken from an email account traced to Kraussâ??s residence.
A computer and computer-related equipment were seized for further investigation.
Krauss was arrested and charged with eleven counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor second degree, a felony offense punishable by up to ten years in prison. The bond was set at $71,500.
Krauss was previously arrested on February 15, 2013 and charged with three counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, third degree.
The case will be prosecuted by the Attorney Generalâ??s Office.
