Beaufort Mayor Billy Keyserling says the city will hold watch parties for Candice Glover's final two nights on "American Idol" this week.

COLUMBIA (WACH/AP) -- American Idol fans will have a couple of chances to join with their friends at Idol finale viewing parties this week.

WACH Fox is hosting an Idol finale viewing party brought to you by the

South Carolina Autism Society

. Come out and join some of your favorite WACH Fox personalities at the

Columbia Marriott

on Thursday starting at 7 p.m.

We will have games, trivia, and you'll be able to interact with Janet Parker who will be in Hollywood for the finale.

Even if you can't attend the party, please consider

making a donation to the SC Autism Society

. Your donation will help the Autism Society find new ways to help and better serve the families who speak for loved ones, as well as come closer to solving the many puzzles of autism spectrum disorders.

If you're closer to the Lowcountry, Beaufort Mayor Billy Keyserling says the city will also hold watch parties for the final two nights of"American Idol" this week.

Keyserling tells the Island Packet that Beaufort's Performing Arts Center will host a viewing party Wednesday for the show, which airs at 8 p.m. on Fox.

City officials will decide by Monday whether to hold a viewing party for the two-hour season finale Thursday at the Highway 21 Drive In or at the Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park.

Because of limited space at the arts center, tickets are required for Wednesday's watch party. Tickets are free and can be picked up at the Chamber of Commerce or the arts center.

St. Helena Island native Glover and Woodville, Texas, native Kree Harrison are the show's finalists.
