COLUMBIA (WACH) - Tonight, the Midland's longest running gallery crawl is going to get started with the 22nd annual Artista Vista in downtown Columbia.
At 5 p.m. galleries along Gervais Street will open their doors for free receptions, beverages, music, hors d'ouevers and of course as much art as one aficionado can stand. The event continues through Saturday with several art houses participating. They include City Art, Trustus Theatre, IFart Gallery, Vista Studios/Gallery 80808, Lewis+Clark, and The One Eared Cow just to name a few.
There are also some special events to enjoy! On Friday, Art Bar is hosting a "Shark's Parlor" poetry party at 8 p.m., and on Saturday ymorning you can enjoy a three mile family friendly bike ride with Mayor Steve Benjamin as he takes part in "One Columbia: Mayor's Famously Hot Bike Ride through the Vista Greenway".
