      Assistant city manager Allison Baker's home broken into

      The Columbia Police Department is investigating a robbery at the home of assistant city manager Allison Baker's home.
      COLUMBIA (WACH) -- The Columbia Police Department is investigating a robbery at the home of assistant city manager Allison Baker's home.

      According to a police report Baker's home was broken into at 10:00 am Sunday morning.

      Baker told police that someone entered through the rear glass patio door and stole a five gallon glass water jug filled with money.

      Investigators say $1,000 dollars was inside the jug and Baker had been filling it for the past 17 years.

      Neighbors told police they heard a loud noise but didn't realize it was the Bakers patio door being broken.

      According to the police report the Bakers say a former employee was at the home recently asking for money and had been in the house on previous occasions.
