BB&T banker talks bank branding for USC students

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) -- A senior executive vice president with BB&T Corp. is scheduled to discuss the issue of building a brand for a bank with students at the University of South Carolina.

The university says Thursday's talk by Ricky Brown is slated for 4:30 p.m. at the Darla Moore School of Business. The speech is free and open to the public.

Brown is the bank's executive for community banking.
