MYRTLE BEACH (WPDE/WACH)-- Myrtle Beach police have arrested a man and charged him with having a stolen gun at the Bermuda Sands motel the night of a shooting where three people died over Memorial Day.
Keith Alextruss Williams, 24, of Lincolnville, SC, was arrested on a stolen weapons charge after police responded to the scene of the Bermuda Sands shooting the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend and found a stolen gun in the trunk of a car, according to an arrest warrant.
Williams was also found injured in the street that night in front of the Bermuda Sands, according to Capt. David Knipes, with the Myrtle Beach Police Department.
Police say that the gun was in Williams' possession and a serial number search revealed that the gun had been stolen.

A deputy responded to an address on Poplar Grove Place for a welfare check and was met by a man, later identified as Williams, and a woman. The pair told the deputy the person he was asking about was not there and they did not know where he was.
The deputy checked their identities and an active warrant was found out of Myrtle Beach for the man, identified as Keith A. Williams. Williams was taken into custody and taken to the local detention center where he was housed until Myrtle Beach Police could take him into custody.
According to Myrtle Beach police records, they took him into custody Thursday morning.
