COLUMBIA, S.C. (WACH, AP) -- A political blogger who claims he had a physical relationship with a married Republican candidate for South Carolina governor is offering new details in a sworn statement.

Will Folks released an affidavit Tuesday that states he had "romantic encounters" with state Rep. Nikki Haley in her Cadillac SUV, his apartment and her Statehouse office.

He still offers no proof.

Haley has denied all of Folks' claims. Her campaign said Tuesday he was seeking publicity and still lying.

On WVOC Wednesday, Haley told host Kevin Cohen the allegations weren't true three weeks before primary and they're still not true three weeks before the general election.

Folks gave the affidavit to a new group of Republican activists critical of Haley's candidacy.

He says he worked for Haley from early 2007 until March 2008 as a consultant. He said they first kissed in early 2007 and the physical relationship ended in June that year.
