Mon, 23 Dec 2013 18:47:31 GMT — LEXINGTON, SC (WACH) - A West Columbia man missing since December 25, 2011 has been found dead. Lexington County Sheriff James Metts said the body of Michael Jody George, 22, of Edmund Highway was found in shallow grave near a home on Busbee Road, not far from where he was last seen alive. Metts said Lexington County detectives were told that George was buried in a hole in the woods along Busbee Road near Gaston. Dectectives and investigators with the Lexington Coroner's office went to the site on December 16th and recovered the body. Using DNA evidence, The State Law Enforcement Division (SLED) positively identified the remains were that of George. Two men and a woman have been arrested in connection with George's death.
