Burglar flees scene on bicycle, charged with second-degree burglary
ORANGEBURG, S.C. (WACH)-- An Orangeburg man has been charged after a resident reported that a man had broke inside of his home.
The Orangeburg County Sheriff's Office were called to a home on Glen Robinson Road around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday where a man said he heard someone trying to get into his home.
Security video showed a male suspect ride a bicycle to the home, walk around and then attempt to gain entry.
Deputies found a side window and a back door opened, which are believed to be the entry and exit points for the intruder.
After an alert was pushed out, deputies were able to locate 30-year-old Christopher Adams riding a bicycle on a nearby street.
Adams has been charged with second-degree burglary and made his first court appearance on Wednesday where his bond was set at $20,000.
