Candice Glover!! We're so glad to see her, we're from St. Helena, says fan, Yolanda Herriott, also a St. Helena native "and she's doing such a great job we're so proud she's doing such a great job representing South Carolina."
"I'm overwhelmed," says Glover to the crowd, "Thank you so much and y'all inspire me when I'm all the way in California stressing about my performances."

Beaufort supports hometown American Idol finalist Candice Glover
During this visit, however, there was no stress at all for Candice, being with those the singing sensation knows and loves.
While at the Penn Center Candice recieved a proclamation from city council as well as a palmetto tree pen and palmetto flag to remind her of home.
Next, Candice answers some questions from the media, on what's going through her mind behind the scenes of the Idol competition
"We all believe in ourselves but on Thursdays its a very weird day," says the Idol finalist, "We don't talk all day like everybody's just nervous and inside their heads. So during commerical breaks on Thursdays we're all practicing our save song."
As the day continues, thousands flooded the streets of downtown Beaufort for an afternoon parade and concert, All for Candice.
"To be honest I didn't even know this many people lived in
," says Glover.
One fan just couldn't hold in her excitement "She is Beaufort Idol! I am so in love with her. Oh my God! Candice you rock!"
Now its actually time for the hometown girl to rock. She makes her way to the concert stage and the crowd goes wild, the streets are filled with cheers.
Finally Beaufort and St. Helena Island get a personal performance from the next possible American Idol.
