Car overturns killing young Columbia man

LEXINGTON, SC (WACH) - The name of the individual involved in a one-vehicle car crash Saturday as been identified.
Twenty-one year old Evin Scott Coombes of Columbia was the driver of a 2007 Chevy Cobalt that was travling on Founders Road when it went off the side of the road.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol says Combes hit an embankment when the car overturned, hitting a telephone pole and tree.
The coroner prounounced Coombes dead at the scene from the injuries sustained during the accident.

Officials say another individual was in the front passenger side of the car, but not injured.
