Charleston named friendliest city in the U.S.

COLUMBIA (WACH) -- Charleston was named the Friendliest city in the nation and the 3rd Most Friendly city in the world by Conde Nast Traveler.

According to the Conde Nast Traveler, Charleston is a "quaint and special little gem" and embodies Southern Hospitality at every turn. The city was ranked as the fifth friendliest city in the world last year.

If you're traveling to New Jersey any time soon, watch out! Newark, New Jersey topped the list and not in a good way - they say it's the unfriendliest city in the nation!
