Charleston protesters to join Occupy Columbia rally

It's been nine days, and the Occupy Columbia protest is still going strong outside the State House.

COLUMBIA (WACH)-- Protesters from Charleston are coming to Columbia to join demonstrators fighting what they call financial inequality and corporate greed.

Demonstrators outside the State House say protesters from Charleston will join them Sunday evening. Protesters from Greenville are also expected.

The demonstrators hope to create a larger Occupy South Carolina group protesting state issues.

The Columbia protesters have been outside the State House since last Saturday.

The movement began on Wall Street more than a month ago and has spread all across the country.
