COLUMBIA (WACH) -- In an effort to keep the Midlandsâ?? sputtering bus system rolling, some big changes are in store for Central Midlands Regional Transit Authority riders.
Starting Monday, the CMRTA is combining some routes, cancelling others and cutting hours.
CMRTA officials announced the changes in April in an attempt to erase a $3.6 million deficit.
The changes include four route cuts and no more Sunday service.
While CMRTA officials say these changes are necessary, riders canâ??t help but be concerned.
