Columbia celebrating season with downtown ice rink
Thu, 28 Nov 2013 11:32:45 GMT — COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) -- The City of Columbia is again celebrating the holiday season with a downtown, outdoor ice skating rink. "Main Street Ice" opens on Thanksgiving Day on Main Street, right outside the Columbia Museum of Art. Skating is free all day Thursday. On other days, admission is $8 for children ages 12 and younger and $10 for adults. Those fees include skate rentals. "Main Street Ice" runs through Jan. 20 but will be closed on Christmas Day. Skating is open until midnight on New Year's Eve.
