Thu, 04 Mar 2010 18:43:07 GMT —
Richland County is on its way to put a plan in place to improve water quality in the Crane Creek Watershed.
Thursday, Richland County Stormwater Management will host their last community meeting to finalize their strategy.
The goal is to restore and protect water quality on the 67 square miles of the creek.
Due to high levels of bacteria in the watershed, recreational use has been prohibited in parts of the stream.
The meeting will start Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in the Crane Creek Community Center on Fairfield Road.
Anyone interested is welcome to attend.
