Concert gives help and hope to domestic violence victims

COLUMBIA (WACH)- Sistercare is calling on the community for an 11th year to help victims of domestic violence with the annual Song Bird Cafe.
The musical event, modeled after Nashvilles famous Bluebird CafÃ©, will feature Radney Foster, Don Dixon, Marti Jones and Sarah Ross. Hear these world-class musicians perform their songs in an acoustic set and get the details behind how these songs came to be.
Song Bird Cafe is set for Thursday, October 3 at 7:00 p.m., at Leaside, 100 East Exchange Place in Columbia.
Tickets are $100 per person, $87 of which is tax-deductible, and can be purchased by calling Sistercare at 803-926-0505 or by going online to Sistercares
The cost includes heavy hors doeuvres, beer and wine. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. and the show starts at 8:00 p.m.
