The Kershaw County Sheriff's office is charging Chad Michael Rabon, 23, with having sex with two counts of criminal sexual conduct a with a minor (2nd degree)between the ages of 11-14 years old. Matthews said the girl's mother saw text messages on her daughter's phone between Rabon and her daughter showed that the two were having an inappropriate relationship. Investigators also found evidence of the relationship on social media. That evidence, plus an interview with the girl, allowed deputies to get a warrant for Rabon's arrest. Rabon was convicted of criminal solicitation of a 12 year old girl in 2009 in Lexington County. Rabon's status as a fugitive was given to Crimestoppers on June 25, and Lexington County deputies arrested him Thursday. He is being held at the Lexington County Detention Center.
