COLUMBIA (WACH) - Columbia police have arrested a man accused of kidnapping and robbing seven people at gunpoint.
According to acting Columbia Police Chief Ruben Santiago, 20 year-old Valtori Chapman is accused of forcefully entering a Center Street residence around 2 a.m. on March 29 and demanding that seven victims, four males and three females, get on the kitchen floor at gunpoint.
Chapman allegedly rummaged through the victims' pockets, the home and vehicles looking for items to steal. He
is also accused of stealing electronics, jewelry and three sets of gold teeth impressions or â??grillsâ?? out of some of the victims' mouths.
None of the victims were physically injured.
Police believe that Chapman had accomplices during the incident.
