Six people displaced after Lexington County mobile home fire Friday morning

Crews on scene of mobile home fire in Lexington County

LEXINGTON COUNTY, SC (WACH) – Emergency crews were on scene of a mobile home fire Friday morning, according to County of Lexington Public Information Officer Harrison Cahill.

The fire happened at a mobile home in the 900 block of Bush Berry Road around 7 a.m.

When crews arrived on scene, they could see heavy smoke and flames coming form the home. Six people were able to flee the scene safely, however.

The family's cat did not make it out of the home, however. Significant damage was also done to the home.
