Deputies find meth in 'Incredibles' bag, arrest 3 individuals

Some of the methamphetamine was packaged in a bag decorated with Disney characters from the movie The Incredibles.

RICHLAND COUNTY, SC (WACH) - Three people were arrested Tuesday on drug charges by narcotics agents with the Richland County Sheriff's Department.

Sheriff Leon Lott says the agents were on there way to serve a narcotics warrant at a home on Arrowwood Road when a black Prius pulled out of the driveway. They stopped the vehicle, which was being driven by Kenan Palmer Kurhan, 33, a resident of the home.

Kurhan told deputies he had methamphetamine in his car and inside the home. He was arrested for trafficking methamphetamine.

According to authorities, Douglas Pyke, 37, and Steven James Carlton, 21, were also living in the home and were arrested for possession of methamphetamine after deputies conducted a search of the house. Pyke had 29 grams of methamphetamine in his room.

The department found approximately 30 grams of crystal methamphetamine after searching Kurhan's car and the home. Some of the methamphetamine was packaged in a bag decorated with Disney characters from the movie The Incredibles. Drug paraphernalia and other bags of methamphetamine were also discovered by deputies.

Lott says Pyke, Kurhan and Carlton were transported to the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
