      Deputies searching for missing elderly man suffering from Alzheimer's

      KERSHAW COUNTY, SC (WACH) - An elderly man who suffers from Alzheimer's is missing, according to Kershaw County sheriff's deputies.

      Deputies say Ezelle Spann, 88, was last seen at his home on Highway 97 outside of Camden around 12 p.m. Wednesday. He left his home in a silver 2004 Saturn L series station wagon with a South Carolina license tag of DQZ 650, but his direction of travel is unknown.

      Spann is described by authorities as a black male around 5-foot-7-inches tall who weighs approximately 160 pounds. He has short grey hair and a thin mustache. He was wearing a green plaid shirt and light brown or khaki pants when he was last seen.

      Anyone with information on Spann's whereabouts is urged to contact the Kershaw County Sheriff's Office at 803-425-1512.

      UPDATE: According to Kershaw County Lt. Templar, Spann has been located and is safe at his home.
