Deputies searching for third suspect in shoplifting incident

RICHLAND COUNTY, SC (WACH) - A third suspect is wanted by Richland County deputies in connection with a shoplifting incident at a convenience store last week.
Sheriff Leon Lott says the suspect walked into a Shell Gas Station on Parklane Road with Clyde Manigo and stole four cases of beer. An employee fired shots in an attempt to stop them, but was unsuccessful. The shots hit Manigo multiple times as well as the getaway vehicle driven by Andrew Walker.
According to Lott, the unknown suspect fled the area on foot.
Lott stated that deputies were dispatched to Weddell Street after receiving a 911 call from one of the suspects. Richland County Sheriffâ??s Deputies found Manigo and Walker in the vehicle waiting for law enforcement and EMS. Sheriff Leon Lott stated that Manigo was transported to Palmetto Health Richland Hospital where he was treated for non- life threatening injuries.
Walker was taken to the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center, and upon release from the hospital, Manigo will be transported as well, said Lott.
