Man wanted on federal charged in Alabama captured in Lexington County Tuesday
LEXINGTON COUNTY, SC (WACH) – Deputies with the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department announced Tuesday the arrest of a man they were searching for all Tuesday morning long.
Thirty-two-year-old Brandon Gentle was arrested in the area of Crouch Circle Road and Beulah Church Road. A deputy initially made contact with Gentle after residents in the area called about a suspicious vehicle in the area that deputies would later find out Gentle was sitting in, according to Cpt. Adam Myrick.
Myrick said the deputy spoke with Gentle for a short time, but afterwards Gentle walked away from the car and the area. During the encounter, however, the deputy determined Gentle was a wanted man due to information he gathered from Gentle. It was then found that Gentle was wanted for violating his bond on charges of conspiracy to distribute dangerous drugs/prescription narcotics from an incident in Hunstville, Ala.
Deputies then began a search for Gentle and were able to locate him near the same area the encounter happened a short time later.
Myrick said no new charges have been added to Gentle, however.
