SUMTER (WACH/AP) -- Investigators say a second victim has been assaulted by a Sumter Middle School Teacher.

Major Allen Daily with the Sumter County Sheriff's Office said before Friday's bond hearing, Moss was charged with 2nd degree assault and battery after she touched a victim.

On Thursday Moss was charged with criminal sexual conduct with a minor.

Deputies say Moss is a teacher at Chestnut Oaks Middle School and during March - April of 2013 she sexually assaulted a student.

Chestnut Oaks Middle School officials notified the school district after hearing Moss was contacting students on Facebook.

The district checked into the messages and called deputies after determining Moss' actions appeared to have broken the law.

Investigators say Moss used Facebook to send inappropriate messages and earn the trust of her victims.

"So far in this investigation it's been almost classic, Textbook, the behavior of Mrs Moss, the relationship with students as far as predator behavior," said Darlene Dellinger with the Sumter County Sheriff's Office.

Investigators say during the search of Moss's home deputies seized several items they believe to be important for their case.

School district officials say Moss is on administrative leave pending the investigation.

A judge set Bond for Moss at $150,000.

Deputies believe there may be more victims and ask anyone that may have information to call crime stoppers at 1-888-CRIME -SC.
