DJJ employee accused of wiretapping

IRMO, S.C. (WACH) - An administrative assistant at the South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice has been charged with wiretapping after authorities say she recorded a conversation between two agency employees.
According to an arrest warrant issued by the State Law Enforcement Division, Leanna M. Cudd, 29, of Irmo, used her mobile device to record a sensative conversation between two DJJ employees.
Cudd is also accused of placing her mobile device under the door of the Inspector General, recording and saving a conversation she wasn't invited into.
The arrest warrants says Cudd confessed to making the recordings. Other employees also signed statements confirming they knew of her actions.
