(AP) -- The South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice is opening a new center officials hope will help the state's youth who are in trouble with the law be productive members of society. DJJ is opening its Job Readiness Training Center in Columbia on Tuesday. Officials say the center will provide life and job skills classes and is part of the agency's efforts to prevent future crime. Gov. Nikki Haley and state Commerce Secretary Bobby Hitt are scheduled to speak at Tuesday's grand opening.
