COLUMBIA (WACH) -- South Carolinas Electric Cooperatives are still working to restore more than 13,000 power outages from last weeks winter storm.
Santee Electric Cooperative is working to restore 8,445 outages across Clarendon, Florence, Georgetown, and Williamsburg counties.
A Cooperative spokesperson say the reason restoring power is taking longer in these areas is due to the extreme conditions Santee crews are working in.
Aiken and Edisto cooperative are both working to restore more than 1,000 outages in there grid.
Costal Electric Cooperative has 650 outages all in Colleton County and Berkeley Electric Cooperative has more than 200 mostly in Berkeley County.
Tri-County serving the midlands is down to just 100 outages.
South Carolinas Electric Cooperatives serve eight counties across the state.
