COLUMBIA (WACH) --- Bond has been denied for the Simpsonville man who is accused of stabbing his wife to death at a home in West Columbia.

Thirty-eight-year-old Jason Donn Lee was charged with the murder of 31-year-old Lindsay Nicole Lee.

According to SLED investigators her estranged husband 38 year old Jason Donn Lee was charged with her murder.

He was also charged with burglary.

Lindsey Lee was found dead in her home Tuesday morning March 14th.

Lee worked in the I-T department at the Lexington County Sheriff’s office.

When she didn’t show up for work Tuesday morning, someone at the department went to check on her and found her body.

Sheriff Jay Koon requested SLED investigate the case due to a conflict of interest.

According to SLED documents Lee attacked his estranged wife as she got home Monday night.

Investigators say she died as a result of a cut on her neck.
