Everything you need to know about USC's commencement ceremony

COLUMBIA (WACH)â??Today at 3pm, Vice President Joe Biden will be speaking at the University of South Carolinaâ??s Commencement Ceremony.

If you plan on attending todayâ??s ceremony, hereâ??s what you need to know:

Important: Doors will be closed at 2:20 p.m. and everyone must be seated by 2:30 p.m. Ceremony will begin at 3:00 p.m.

ALL attendees much have a ticket and every attendee will be screened. Early arrival is important to ensure entrance.

Doors open at 11:30am. Graduates and Faculty will enter using the College Street Entrances. All other guests will use the Main Entrance at the corner of Greene and Lincoln Streets.

Small bags are allowed, but strongly discouraged as every item will be hand-searched before entry.

Cameras, video cameras, and cell phones/mobile devices are allowed.

Free parking and shuttles will begin at 10:30 a.m. from the Pendleton Street, Senate Street, Horizon and Discovery Parking Garages.

Free parking will be available in the surface parking lots adjacent to Colonial Life Arena, however due to the limited number of surface spaces; guests are encouraged to make use of garages and free shuttle service.
