The family of a man killed in a post-game fight in October 2010 is suing six people they believe contributed to his death.
The fight took place outside of Williams-Brice Stadium after a South Carolina - Alabama football game. Martin Gasque was involved in an altercation, then run over by a truck. The family has filed a lawsuit against the people who invited the man convicted in the killing to the tailgate party, as well as the owners of the property where the party was located.
Doug Jennings, the family's attorney claims it's a similar situation of accountability to a bar that serves too many drinks to someone involved in a drunken driving crash.
The defendants say Gasque is responsible for his own drinking.
