Famous downtown landmark to move

This sculpture on Taylor St. is being donated to the City by AgFirst Bank.

COLUMBIA (WACH)- A famous downtown landmark is moving to a new home.

A spokesperson from AgFirst confirms the giant fire hydrant is being donated to the City of Columbia.

According to the Bill of Sale and Gift Agreement between the City and AgFirst, the City will move the the scuplture to another location in the city

South Carolina native Blue Sky created the sculpture. One of his most famous works Tunnel Vision, is a mural painted on the back of the AgFirst building.The scupture called " Busted Plug" has been on the AgFirst property since the early 2000's.

The spokesperson for AgFirst says the bank decided to donate the sculpture as a gift to the city in hopes that the artwork will be more visable to the community.
