Film being shot at historic Columbia house

COLUMBIA (WACH) -- A historic Columbia Home is being used as the production site for a short narrative film this week.
The Robert Mills House on Blanding being used by University of South Carolina students and film industry professionals for the making of a 15 minute film called "Dreadful Sorry."
The short movie is inspired by a ghost who haunts a mansion in Beaufort post Civil War.
USC Associate Theater Professor Robert Richmond is directing the film. he says the Robert Mills House sets a perfect stage for the movie.
"These grounds are just absolutely beautiful and it gives us an incredible backdrop for the splendid design that's already been made by the costumes, the makeup and the art director, this really makes it authentic," Richmond says.
Shooting for "Dreadful Sorry" will continue throughout the week with the film expected to be complete this fall.
