COLUMBIA, SC (WACH)- A motorcyclist killed on I-26 near the intersection of I-126 has been identified.
Richland County Coroner Gary Watts said Damion C. Larrabee, 36, of West Columbia was pronounced dead at the scene.
Cpl. Bill Rhyne with the South Carolina Highway Patrol said that about 6:45 Monday morning, five cars were involved in a crash near the intersection of I-20. Larrabee was riding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle along with four other vehicles piled up on I-26 causing numerous delays in the heavily traveled area.. Watts said Larrabee was not wearing a helmet.
Two other victims were taken to area hospitals.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is still investigating the accident.
