Here is your Good Day Columbia GDC Morning WACH for Friday May 3, 2013:
It was a big fun Food Friday, for sure, as we celebrated Cinco de Mayo a couple days early.
Blinded with science
Nathan Yon from the South Carolina Science Academy joined us to talk about the STEM Camp tomorrow, and to show us some of the fun you can have with science. You can get more information about the STEM program HERE.
If you are hungry, we have you covered the Cinco de Mayo way
Continuing with our Cinco de Mayo celebration, Chef Jason Palmer from the Capital City Club joined us with a couple of tasty treats to celebrate the weekend with. Here they are:
Chilled Strawberry Champagne Soup with Gran Marnier

Something to wash it down with
Liz Deese joined us with some fun drink recipes for your Cinco celebration. Here is all you need:
The Coco Crusher
We also tried Tanteo infused tequilas in 3 styles- jalapeño , tropical and cocoa. If that wasnâ??t enough, there was skinny jalapeño margarita with fresh lime and agave nectar as well as a cocoa espresso margarita with the cocoa infused tequila and chilled espresso.
Yes, it was tough, but someone had to do it. Have a great weekend, Happy Cinco.
