      Haley faces second relationship claim

Haley's campaign vehemently denies both allegations.

A lobbyist and former member of a rival campaign has come forward with an allegation of a one night stand with state Representative and Gubernatorial Candidate Nikki Haley.

WACH Fox News spoke with Larry Marchant Wednesday night. He says the tryst with Haley happened two years ago, however he did not offer any proof of the alleged encounter.

Marchant worked for Lieutenant Governor Andre Bauer's gubernatorial campaign until this week when he stepped down.

Marchant is the second person to allege a physical relationship with Representative Haley. Political blogger Will Folks made his claims last month. Folks has also yet to provide any proof of a physical relationship.

Haley's campaign released the following statement in response:

"This is a false and outrageous desperate attack from a losing candidate's paid campaign consultant in the final week of the race. As Nikki Haley rises in the polls, the good old boys in Columbia see their taxpayer-funded fraternity party coming crumbling down, and they will say or do anything to hold onto their power. This is South Carolina politics at its worst. The people of our state deserve better, and when Nikki Haley is Governor, they'll get it."

Haley also denied the claims during a debate in Charleston Wednesday. She accused the Bauer campaign of trying to fish the story earlier this week. Bauer denied those claims after the event.

Marchant was arrested in December and charged with driving under the influence.
