The band mates met with reporters then walked through the auditorium of Burke High School in Charleston to greet parents and students on Wednesday.
The Roundup includes goods and services provided by almost 40 sponsors.
Wednesday night the band plays its annual homegrown concert at the Family Circle Cup tennis stadium on Daniel Island where money for more school supplies will be raised.
The band started its efforts back in 2003 because of budget cuts in education. At that first concert, a 55-foot school bus was filled to the top with school supplies.
