CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) -- Former South Carolina first lady Jenny Sanford is one of seven people seeking a seat on the board of the Charleston County Aviation Authority.
The Post and Courier of Charleston reports (http://bit.ly/1jkO2uv ) that six of the seven are women.
One of the others who have applied for the seat is Jordan Scott Pace, a field representative for Jenny Sanford's ex-husband, U.S. Rep. Mark Sanford.
Members of the Charleston County Legislative Delegation decide next week on who will fill the seat vacated when a board member accepted a seat on the board of the Medical University of South Carolina.
The aviation board position pays $35 a meeting.
