      Lexington County man arrested for operating meth lab out of his garage

      Officers responding to a suspicious activity call found Langley in his garage just before 4 a.m. Sunday where a reaction vessel was producing methamphetamine.

      LEXINGTON COUNTY (WACH) -- A man was arrested Sunday after Sheriff's Dept. officers detected a strong chemical odor outside his home and found an active methamphetamine laboratory inside his garage.

      Officers arrested William David Langley, 42, of 181 Lantern Hill Circle, Lexington, on charges of manufacturing methamphetamine, having a gun while committing a violent crime, and having marijuana.

      Officers responding to a suspicious activity call found Langley in his garage just before 4 a.m. Sunday where a reaction vessel was producing methamphetamine.

      Langley is being held at the Lexington County Detention Center on $25,620 bond.
