LEXINGTON (WACH) â?? A Lexington man has been charged with operating a meth lab, drug possession and possessing multiple handguns.
According to the Lexington Multi-Agency Narcotics Enforcement Team (NET), Tuesday, a search warrant was served on the Bluefield Road home of 26-year-old Travis Leon Horton.
While in Hortonâ??s home, officers reportedly found five plastic bottles that has been used to manufacture methamphetamine, empty batter casing and packages of pseudoephedrine. They also found methamphetamine in his home.
On Wednesday, Horton was taken into custody, and charged with a third-offense of operating a clandestine methamphetamine laboratory, third-offense of possessing meth, third-offense of possession of heroin and marijuana with intent to distribute. They also charged him with being in possession of four handguns during the commission of a crime, unlawfully possessing a prescription painkiller and seized about $3000 in cash.
Horton is being held in the Lexington County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.
