The 2012 Pink Glove Dance contest will award $10,000 for breast cancer research

COLUMBIA (WACH) â?? The Lexington Medical Center is hoping to make it two in a row. Two videos; two consecutive wins; and another ten thousand dollars for cancer research.

Last year, the hospital, along with 138 other entries gathered over a million views collectively for their respective â??Pink Glove Danceâ?? offerings, all with the goal of earning a $10,000 prize, ear marked for breast cancer.

LMC received 61,054 votes, and the $10,000 award which was donated o the Vera Bradley Foundation.

According to LMCâ??s Barbara Willm, this years video once again uses a Katy Perry song, â??Part of Me.â?? This yearâ??s entry features over 700 Lexington Medical employees, and was shot in various locations in the Midlands.
